The announcement of the team’s composition is scheduled to take place in the final week of this month.
According to the Chairman of the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council, Syed Sultan Shah, Pakistan will field a formidable squad for the prestigious tournament, which is set to be held in Birmingham, UK, from August 18 to 27. With great enthusiasm, he stated that 23 exceptional players have been shortlisted based on their outstanding performances at the domestic level, as part of their preparation for this global event.
This marks a significant moment for Pakistan’s blind cricket community as, for the first time, a 17-member team will represent the nation on an international stage.
