Global Tourism Expo 2025 Showcases Pakistan’s Tourism Potential at Centaurus Mall

Islamabad: The Global Tourism Expo 2025 concluded successfully at The Centaurus Mall, Islamabad, after three dynamic days of cultural celebration, networking, and tourism promotion. Held from June 27 to 29, the event brought together key stakeholders from the tourism industry, travel professionals, diplomatic missions, and the general public under one roof.
Organized in collaboration with the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) and Cherry Communications, the expo aimed to highlight Pakistan’s growing status as a world-class tourist destination while showcasing both national and international travel opportunities.
The event was officially inaugurated by prominent dignitaries, including:
- Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
- Mr. Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, CEO of The Centaurus Group & President of the Islamabad Developers Association (IDA)
- Mr. Anjum Aqeel Khan, Member of the National Assembly
- Mr. Aftab ur Rehman Rana, Managing Director, PTDC
- Mr. Faisal Najam, Event Director, Global Tourism Expo, Cherry Communications
Thousands of visitors attended the Expo over its three-day run, engaging with a wide range of pavilions, cultural stalls, tourism boards, travel brands, and interactive displays. The event served as a platform to foster global tourism ties, promote local culture, and introduce travel experiences across Pakistan and beyond.
In a statement, PTDC extended its heartfelt appreciation to all participating embassies, tourism associations, private sector partners, and visitors for contributing to the success of the event. “Together, we celebrated the spirit of #SalamPakistan and reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s position on the global tourism map,” the statement read.
