36-member Pakistan contingent announced for Commonwealth Games

Lahore:Pakistan has named a 36-member contingent, comprising athletes and officials, for the Commonwealth Games scheduled to be held in Scotland from July 23, with Major General Adil Rehmani appointed as the Chief de Mission.
Arshad Nadeem among others star-studded athletics
In athletics, Arshad Nadeem, Faiqa Riaz, Ansar Abbas, Muhammad Akhtar, Muhammad Ismail, Muhammad Yasir and Noreen Hussain will represent Pakistan.
Pakistan will compete in boxing, athletics, swimming, gymnastics, judo and lawn bowls at the Commonwealth Games.
The boxing squad includes Afzal Khan, Fatima Zahra, Malaika Zahid, Qudratullah and Samama Rehman.
Shehzad Ali will compete in gymnastics, while Shah Hussain will take part in judo. Maqsood, Wasim Khan and Muhammad Ayub Qureshi will compete in lawn bowls.
In swimming, Hamza Asif, Hareem Malik, Jehanara Nabi and Muhammad Ahmad Durrani will represent Pakistan.
The Commonwealth Games will take place in Glasgow, Scotland, from July 23 to August 2.
