Security forces kill 24 terrorists in Bannu operations

Islamabad:The security forces killed 24 terrorists during a series of intelligence-based operations in Bannu and surrounding areas over the past 24 hours, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.
The military described the operation as a major success in the country’s ongoing campaign against terrorism.
According to the ISPR, security forces conducted intelligence-based operations in Bannu and nearby areas, killing 24 militants during the past 24 hours. The military said those killed belonged to the Fitna-ul-Khawarij, which it described as an Indian proxy.
A large cache of weapons and ammunition was also recovered during the operations. The ISPR said the slain militants had been involved in several terrorist activities and attacks in the region.
Military vows to continue anti-terror operations
The military reaffirmed its commitment to eliminating terrorism and bringing those responsible to justice. According to the ISPR, operations against militants operating under what it described as Indian patronage will be intensified further.
The military added that foreign-sponsored terrorism would be eliminated and that intelligence-based operations would continue without interruption until the scourge of terrorism is completely eradicated.
