CM Murad says no consultation held on 28th constitutional amendment

Islamabad:Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has dismissed reports regarding the proposed 28th constitutional amendment, saying the Pakistan Peoples Party has neither been consulted nor presented with any draft or proposal related to such legislation.
He said that the conflict between Iran and the United States had pushed up inflation across the world. The Sindh chief minister has said that the government is trying to ensure that the new budget places the least possible burden on low-income groups, adding that any decision on salary increases would be taken after consultation with the federal government.
The Sindh CM has said that the province faces a severe shortage of resources, putting development schemes at risk. He opposed the creation of smaller districts, saying it increases expenditure and requires additional offices. He added that discussions with the centre are ongoing and that clear figures on Federal Board of Revenue collections have yet to be received.
