Asim Munir, Iranian FM discuss efforts to end Iran war

Islamabad: Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran on Friday, as diplomatic efforts intensified to help end the ongoing Iran conflict and promote regional stability.
The meeting focused on reducing tensions in the region, promoting peace and stability, and preventing further escalation in West Asia.
According to Iranian state media, Asim Munir and Abbas Araghchi exchanged views on the latest diplomatic efforts and initiatives to end the US-Israel war on Iran.
The two sides also discussed regional security issues and possible steps to prevent the conflict from widening further.
A post on the Iranian foreign minister’s Telegram channel said the talks “lasted until late at night.” The post said both sides reviewed diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and promoting peace, stability and security in West Asia.
