Lahore: The three-day Pakistan HVACR International Expo & Conference 2025 wrapped up in Lahore with record-breaking participation, affirming its status as the country’s premier gathering for the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) industry.

Hosted at the Lahore International Expo Centre, this year’s event—marking its 30th edition—drew more than 500 exhibitors and thousands of visitors. Companies from across Pakistan and countries including China, Germany, and Turkey showcased their latest innovations and technologies aimed at transforming the built environment.

The theme, “Sustainable Innovation for a Greener Future,” was woven into every aspect of the event. From eco-friendly HVAC systems to smart automation and hybrid cooling solutions, the focus was clear: the industry is moving swiftly toward sustainability, and Pakistan intends to be part of that shift.

Ramzan Sharif, President of the Pakistan HVACR Society, described the event as one of the most vibrant in recent memory. “We’ve seen incredible energy here in Lahore—young professionals, industry veterans, international delegates—all coming together around one shared goal: building a smarter, greener future,” he said during the closing ceremony.

Technical sessions and panel discussions ran throughout the expo, covering topics like indoor air quality, energy-efficient design, and climate-responsive systems. Experts from both academia and industry shared practical insights and research, while attendees actively engaged in Q&A sessions and networking.

Syed Fakkhi Iftikhar, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, emphasized the expo’s importance in promoting local innovation. “It’s not just about imports and international brands—we’re also shining a spotlight on Pakistan’s own HVACR talent and manufacturing capabilities. There’s real potential here, and this platform helps unlock it,” he told reporters.

Beyond the tech, the expo was buzzing with energy. University students mingled with CEOs, while consultants and engineers explored booths featuring everything from large-scale chillers to compact smart thermostats. Several exhibitors noted strong interest from both public and private sector buyers.

As the final day came to a close, organizers confirmed that the 31st edition of the Pakistan HVACR Expo will take place in Islamabad in 2026, promising an even larger and more diverse platform. With the momentum built in Lahore, the industry’s future in Pakistan looks both ambitious and promising.
