Pakistan players to join training camp after Eid for Australia ODI series

Lahore:Preparations at the Pindi Cricket Stadium have entered the final phase ahead of the opening One-day International between Pakistan national cricket team and Australia national cricket team, scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi on Saturday.
Pakistan players will join the training camp after celebrating Eid-ul-Azha, while the Australian squad has continued its preparations for the three-match ODI series.
The second and third ODIs of the series will be played in Lahore.
It is pertinent to note that the Green Shirts will face Australia in the opening match of the series at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Saturday.
Earlier, Pakistan cricketers conveyed Eid-ul-Azha greetings to the nation and urged people to celebrate the festival with relatives and friends while also remembering those around them.
Former captain Babar Azam said: “On behalf of myself and the Pakistan team, Eid Mubarak to all of you.”
Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi said: “Eid Mubarak to everyone from me.”
Pakistan all-rounder Salman Ali Agha extended Eid greetings to people in Pakistan and across the world.
Vice-captain Shadab Khan also conveyed Eid wishes to the nation, while women cricketers greeted Muslims on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
