Basit Ali blasts Shan Masood’s ‘zero captaincy’ after Test shortcomings
Talha Javed:
Lahore: Former cricketer Basit Ali launched a scathing attack on Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood, saying his captaincy was “zero” and that he did not know how to lead a side.
Speaking on Samaa TV programme ‘Zor Ka Jor’, Basit Ali said Pakistan could barely cope with two-Test contests yet continued to speak of four-match series.
He said even if legendary Australian batsman Don Bradman was appointed coach, the team would still fail to improve.
Basit Ali claimed Pakistan cricket was suffering from “cancer” and added that the country’s players did not know how to play proper cricket.
